Angela Moore Helps Spread the Word about Ovarian Cancer Awareness by Debuting New Collection
By popular demand, Angela Moore is debuting a new Ovarian Cancer Awareness bracelet to her existing best-selling Ovarian Cancer Collection. There is no better time to introduce this new collection than in September, when women are focusing on Ovarian Cancer Awareness month and proudly wearing teal in support of the cause. Angela Moore has partnered with the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance (OCNA) to design a limited edition Ovarian Cancer National Alliance bracelet and necklace set. This special design features teal crystals and celebrates the mission of the OCNA – to help raise awareness and advancing the interests of women with ovarian cancer. The OCNA works to save women’s lives by bringing awareness to women about this silent killer. Some notable facts about Ovarian Cancer (from ovariancancer.org website): “Each year in the United States, more than 21,000 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer and about 15,000 women die of the disease.” “According to the data, the mortality rates for ovarian cancer have not improved in thirty years since the ‘War on Cancer’ was declared. However, other cancers have shown a marked reduction in mortality, due to the availability of early detection tests and improved treatments. Unfortunately, this is not the case with ovarian cancer, which is still the deadliest of all gynecologic cancers.” The collection includes a bracelet, necklace, earrings, pendant and charm that range in price from $10 to $105. The collection can be purchased at the Angela Moore Boutique located at 190 Bellevue Avenue in Newport, online at www.angelamoore.com, and through the Angela Moore catalog at 800-927-5470. Limited supplies can also be purchased through the OCNA official website at www.ovariancancer.org. To continue Angela Moore’s long tradition of philanthropy, she will donate 15% of every bracelet and necklace purchase back to the OCNA. Donations are given not just in September to recognize Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, but all year long. Symptoms of Ovarian Cancer cards, provided by Teal Toes, are available at the Angela Moore Boutique and will be included with each catalog and online purchase. Recognize National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month (September) by giving back to an organization that helps find a cure for it! Help us spread the word about Ovarian Cancer Awareness and look pretty in Teal while doing it! Recent articles |
